The Illinois Department of Natural Resources has proposed changes to the Illinois List of Endangered and Threatened Fauna, which was posted in the Illinois Register on August 1, 2025. The link below includes the changes. Text that is highlighted and underlined will be added, and text that is highlighted in strikethrough will be removed. The new rules do not change requirements; they only add or remove species.
