USARK Ashe Letter 2013

This letter, submitted on behalf of the United States Association of Reptile Keepers (“USARK”), concerns an ongoing rulemaking process, partially completed in January 2012, proposing to list nine species of constricting snakes as injurious under the Lacey Act., USARK
is a non-profit membership organization representing breeders , hobbyists, conservationists, collectors , academics , and scientists who work with or in the reptile industry . As such, both the finalized listings and those outstanding are of immense personal , economic, conservation, and scientific interest to USARK and its members.
