Dear President Kellogg and Commissioners:
I own and operate a business in ______, California and just learned of the upcoming Fish and Game Commission meeting on March 3, 2010 where the Commission is considering a ban on the importation of non-native frogs and turtles.  This will have a very negative on my business and my employees.
First, let me apologize for my late entry into this debate, but please understand that I was unaware of what you are considering. Secondly, I respectfully request that you delay a decision on this issue until we in the industry have an opportunity to work with your staff and the Department of Fish and Game to develop a cooperative, comprehensive solution to the issue, rather than have it be confrontational.
